Viva Maïa was more than a ballet gala
It was a tribute to the legacy of the legendary Maya Plisetskaya, bringing together some of the world’s most celebrated dancers on the stage of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Under the artistic direction of Mariinsky prima ballerina Irma Nioradze, the program united stars of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky Theatre, Paris Opera, Vienna State Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Ballets de Monte-Carlo and other leading companies in one exceptional evening of classical and contemporary ballet.
WE CREATE was responsible for the organization and production of the project, working behind the scenes to bring an international cast and an ambitious cultural program together on one stage. For us, Viva Maïa holds a very special place in our portfolio: an opportunity to contribute not simply to an event, but to the preservation and celebration of the legacy of one of the greatest figures in the history of ballet.
